Brahma

Biografía

Brahma is the deity traditionally associated with cosmic creation in Hindu thought. He is commonly included in the trimurti alongside Vishnu and Shiva, representing creation, maintenance, and transformation. Vaishnava scriptures describe Brahma as the first living being within the universe. Empowered by Bhagavan, he receives divine knowledge and carries out the task of organizing and populating the material cosmos. According to traditional narratives, Brahma appears on a lotus emerging from Vishnu and, after deep contemplation, receives the wisdom necessary to fulfill his role. He is regarded as the ancestor of many sages and celestial beings and as an important transmitter of Vedic knowledge. Although immensely powerful, Brahma is not considered the Supreme Reality in Vaishnava theology. Rather, he is a highly elevated servant of Bhagavan entrusted with a unique cosmic responsibility.
