Sandhini-shakti
The sandhini-shakti is the existence potency of the Supreme Lord, one of the three aspects of Krishna's svarupa-shakti (internal energy) alongside the hladini-shakti (pleasure) and the samvit-shakti (knowledge). In Gaudiya Vaishnava theology, the sandhini-shakti is responsible for the manifestation and sustenance of all reality, both spiritual and material. On the spiritual plane, the sandhini-shakti generates the transcendental forms of Bhagavan, the spiritual bodies of the eternal devotees, the divine abodes such as Goloka Vrindavana and Vaikuntha, and all the objects and landscapes of the spiritual world. On the material plane, this potency manifests in a degraded form as the five gross elements (earth, water, fire, air, and ether) and the subtle elements that compose the physical universe. The sandhini-shakti ensures that spiritual existence is eternal, imperishable, and unchanging, unlike material existence, which is temporary and subject to change. For bhakti-yoga practitioners, understanding the sandhini-shakti enriches their comprehension of the transcendental nature of Krishna's abode and of their own eternal spiritual body, thereby strengthening their aspiration to consciously participate in the Lord's eternal lila.
